Notes about colour

Many of the commands allow you to specify a colour at relevant times. Colours may be specified in a few different ways.

The usual way of specifying a colour is to describe it by it's blue, green and red components - you'll no doubt be familiar with this if you've done any programming, computer art or website design.

Values are accepted in hexadecimal.

Values can be accepted in any of the following forms:

0xBBGGRR00
0xBBGGRR
&BBGGRR00
&BBGGRR
BBGGRR00
BBGGRR

The acceptance of different prefixes (0x or &) is just so that both BASIC and C programmers will feel at home.

There are also some recognised colour descriptions, as whipped from the HTML specification:

The parser is not case sensitive.

The word none may be used in some cases, where it is relevant to specify no colour. These cases are specifically mentioned in the command reference.
