RISC OS Documentation Store

Over the years that I've been rescuing people's computer collections from lofts, schools, etc, I've collected quite a substantial amount of "miscellaneous" documentation. As I've recently moved to a smaller house, this lot must go. But it seems such a waste!

I live in perpetual fear that I'll throw away a manual for a bit of educational software that hasn't been sold for years, then a week later I'll read on usenet "I don't suppose anyone has the manual for My Talking Paper-Mache Trainset by Blibble Software do they?". So I figured that before I threw things out I could scan them first, and make them accessible to all.

Also, there's RISC OS games to consider. What is left of them tends to be sold off in compilations, with very little packaging or documentation. Or you might just pick up the floppy disk at a charity stall, but with no instructions. The packing and manuals for software on RISC OS could very often be works of art in themselves (or at least, written with a decent sense of humour) and so I think they're worth keeping for posterity too.

So ... I'll be adding to this collection as I get time to sort through my office, and find time to slave over the flatbed scanner. If you have anything that you'd like to contribute (scanned or not) I'd love to have it!
