62 today.
Thought you might be interested to know that the following awesome, trend-setting, political-decision-making celebrities celebrate their birthday today (17th October):
Eminem (1972) – Like Madonna, Eminem chose to drop his surname when embarking on his professional career. His full name is Eminem Malcolm Mnah-mnah. Apparently the school bullies made his formative years a living hell thanks to one Muppet sketch in particular.
Margot Kidder (1948) – You remember her! She took the role of Lois Lane (Superman’s sexy, empowered, go-gettin’ investigative journalist girlfriend) and made her the rather unattractive, mentally unbalanced flake that we all know today.
Wyclef Jean (1969) – Fugees front man and Haitian-presidential hopeful, who has not let the setback of sharing a name with a dull Cornish detective keep him from fame and glory.
Autumn (1977) – Who of course, we all remember in Deep Throat This 19. Admittedly not a dialogue-heavy performance, but memorable nonetheless.
“Evel” Knievel (1938) – Compared to him, we’re all poofs.
It’s my birthday too, by the way. And whilst I can only dream of enjoying the successes and glory of those listed here, I am proud to share my birthday with them.
Please help yourself to some Battenberg.
