Over the years the multimedia system has been in place I've been writing many little utilities (very often in BASIC) to do various graphical tasks, but this is my attempt to redesign it all from scratch as one application.
Yassa is designed to let you put presentations together. These may be of the "rolling-slideshow" type (just leave it running) or "interactive" type to assist you in giving a presentation or lecture.
It attempts to fulfill two aims:
The first point is because I very often receive a collection of images from the lecturer about two minutes before they're needed and am expected to work miracles. This wasn't doing my blood pressure any good. The second point is that I didn't want such a simplifed task to limit the application's potential for expansion.
